Community activities for everyone: Little Mountain Neighbourhood House (LMNH) reaches out to the community through food, music, and workshops designed to bring neighbours together to connect and engage. Programs are partially funded by Green Shield Canada, Vancouver Foundation, Vancouver Coastal Health, and BC Gaming.

A delicious, nutritious, and low-cost 3-course meal. 20 seats available each week. First come, first served.
Local residents have priority when space is limited. Dinner is served at 5:00pm.
Cost: $5.00 for adult members/ $6.00 for adult non-members / $4.00 for child

Village Vancouver Main Street Workshops
Food Security & Sustainable Living: Workshops with Village Vancouver (Main Street)
Monthly workshops focus on quality of life issues: growing local food, gardening and seed saving, renewable energy, recycling, low-impact transportation, bike maintenance, bee keeping and backyard chickens. Due to time limitations, we’ll only be running workshops (no potlucks) until the end of the year.

Heart-Health-‘Hood: Learning. Living. Leading:**
A community education and mentor-ship program for building healthier selves and neighbourhood
This program is open and free to all newcomers and longer-term residents. Participants will gain knowledge and access to local health resources and participate in wellness activities that focus on healthy living. Topics include wellness and nutrition, managing stress, chronic disease and prevention, and exercise/active living. Classes are facilitated by local BCIT student nurses and include educational lessons, games, and dialogue. Participants will receive a certificate and healthy living manual at the end of the course, as well as access to community resources through a health navigator.
Who: Everyone (adults)
When: Wednesdays (weekly) 4:15-5:45pm
Dates: Program #1: January 27-March 09 / Program #2: March 23 – April 27
Support Services: Childminding and healthy snacks, with transportation support if needed
