LMNHS provides a safe, happy, healthy environment for children, parents, and staff.  Inspiring tomorrows leaders.  Our Child Care centres are all licensed with qualified staff who work effortlessly to meet and comply with the Child Care Licensing Regulations set out by the Community Care and Assisted Living Act.  We provide enriched programs that run all year round.  Offering care to children, and families in our community.

These programs are partially funded by the Ministry for Children and Family Development, BC Gaming, United Way of the Lower Mainland, and Social Development Canada.


Little Mountain Out of School Care (LMOSC)

We promote and encourage your child to express themselves and to have fun in a safe & welcoming environment. Your child will have the opportunity to join in and develop their social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional skills. LMOSC is a licensed daycare. We offer clubs such as: EnviroKids, Baking, Pet Club, Running Club, Constructs Club, Homework Club, Leaders Group and many more opportunities to learn new skills and build friendships. The staff at LMOSC provide a family friendly program that is active and full of new and creative ideas to create an engaging and enriching environment for the children of LMOSC.

Who : Licensed daycare, 6-12 yrs
When : Monday-Friday 7:30-9am & 3-6pm Pro-D & breaks
Where : McBride Elementary School (1300 E. 29th Ave Vancouver)
Cost:
School year – $380.00 per month ( includes Pro-d days, district closures, hot breakfast, snacks, fieldtrip and transportation costs)
Spring Break – $175.00 per week (includes breakfast, snack, field trip and transportation costs)
Summer break – $175.00 per week (includes breakfast, snack, field trip and transportation costs)

Spring Break Camp 2016
The program is provided in a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment. The staff have planned many Wild/Wacky/Crazy & Creative adventures, activities and field trips for your children to participate in. Marguerite Out of School Care (MOSC)

At Marguerite Out of School Care (MOSC) we promote and encourage your child to express themselves, and to have fun, in a safe and welcoming inclusive environment.  Your child will have the opportunity to join in and develop their social, physical, intellectual, creative, and emotional skills.  We are a licensed daycare.  Our program will encourage your child to explore their creativity, humanity, and passion for learning.   We would love to have your child participate in our program.

Who is it for:  MOSC is a licensed child care for children from the ages 6 to 12 yrs old who attend Shaughnessy Elementary School (during Spring Break we are open to all families). 
Where is it located:  This program services Shaughnessy Elementary School (425 Marguerite St.)
When: We offer a Before school program (7:00 am – 9:00 am) and an after school care (3:00 pm – 6 pm), as well as professional days, district closures,  and spring break (7:00 am – 6 pm).  *Please see Spring Break program/calendar for more information  MOSC is open Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays.
Cost:
School year – $420.00 per month – Includes; Pro-D Days, snacks, most fieldtrip and transportation costs.  During Spring Break our fees for enrolled children an additional $185.00 per week (on top of their monthly fees), and for non-enrolled children our fee is $235.00 a week (provided space is available).  **Subsidy applications accepted.

Little Mountain Child Development Centre (CDC)

The Child Development Centre focuses on the development of the whole child. We are an inclusive daycare that works with the parents and other professionals (as needed) to meet all of your child’s basic needs in order to nurture their social, physical, intellectual, creative, cognitive, and emotional growth. We believe that children learn best while playing, exploring, and discovering their environment and the world around them.

Your child will be able to take part in circles, stories, free play, art, water/sand table, music and movement, and science activities every day. The staff takes the children outside daily and go on walks and field trips within the community.
Who it’s for: Children ages 3-5 years old. Six out of our 15 spaces are reserved for children who require extra support.
When:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm year round
Where:
Total Education Program (425 E.29th Ave)
Cost: $800.00 per month, includes; 2 field trips per year, hot nutritious lunch and snacks.  **Subsidy applications accepted.

Sunset Child Care Society

At Sunset the staff; guide, support & promote autonomy, and creativity in each child while providing a safe place for all. They are a licensed daycare with an active parent board.
