Sun Run 2011

The staff at Little Mountain Neighbourhood House participated in the Vancouver Sun Run on April 17, 2011.  It was a great day for our team.  LMNHS has been actively participating in the Sun Run for 3 years and this year’s team was a big one (18 team members) we had 4 runners, and 14 walkers.  Our team is looking forward to next year’s race.

“The Vancouver Sun Run’s primary mandate is to promote health, fitness and community spirit and to support amateur athletics. While the Sun Run is not designated as a charity event, over $1.74 million in proceeds from the Sun Run have been donated to important causes since 1985.” The Vancouver Sun
