Level 3 Elsa Class sponsors a family in need!
Little Mountain Neighbourhood House’s Level 3 Elsa (English as a second language) class along with their teacher (Mia Parhizgar) sponsored a family in need this year. The students in Mia’s class found out that CDC had a parent in need so they put together a gift box of food, and gifts for a single mother of 3. The students wrote letters of encouragement as they excitedly put the box together and put them in the box for the family. The mother was very grateful, and happy for the Elsa student’s kindness and for making this Christmas special. CDC’s staffs were also very moved, and appreciated the help that one of their families received especially at this time of year. Geraldine Clevette Child Care Manager at LMNHS says “The class put their heart into helping out one of our families. Their kindness is inspiring!”
