Joel Bronstein - Executive Director
Joel has been working at LMNHS since 1987, where he began working with children, youth and seniors, then as a Program Director and has been the Executive Director since 1997. His education background are in the fields of Social Work, Recreation Management and Human Services. He loves the neighbourhood and is thrilled by the level of involvement by community members from variety of backgrounds.

Claudia Cao - Finance and Operations Officer
Claudia has been working at LMNHS since 2002. Claudia began working as LMNHS’ accounting and administrative assistant and now oversees the financial management and operations of the Neighbourhood House. Claudia graduated from BCIT’s financial management program and is currently working towards her CGA designation. Claudia has many years of experience with different accounting systems and full-cycle accounting. She is committed to ethical principles and upholding LMNHS’ financial policy. Claudia came to Canada as a landed immigrant from mainland China and is multi-lingual. She likes the multicultural environment at LMNHS and is happy to support all facets of the community services offered here.

Erin Dusdal - Acting Manager, Children and Youth Programs
Erin began working at Little Mountain summer, 2010. Erin has worked in a wide range of child and youth program settings on both Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. Her background is in child and youth program development, leadership training, child support work, and group facilitation. She has worked in both schools and community agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Woman Studies as well as a Bachelors degree in Child and Youth Care. Erin feels so privileged to be a new member of the fantastic team at LMNHS and is very excited to be working with such wonderful Child and Youth staff implementing the programs.

Geraldine Clevette - Manager, Child Care Programs
Geraldine has been working at Little Mountain since February, 2008. She sometimes refers to herself as a “neighbourhood house brat” because ever since she started doing leadership training at Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House when she was a teenager, she’s continuously found herself involved in neighbourhood houses in one way, shape or form! Geraldine has worked in a wide range of child care settings and was a crisis line counselor for over 10 years. She holds certificates in Early Childhood Education, Infant and Toddler, Special Needs and Counselling Skills. Geraldine loves working at Little Mountain. For her, its like a family – a safe place to explore ideas, be creative and feed off others’ energy. In her spare time, Geraldine is an avid walker, gardener and is active in her community through a wide range of volunteer positions.

Rachel Gold - Manager, Children and Youth Programs
Rachel has been at LMNHS since Fall, 2008. For over 10 years, she has been working with community-based non-profits and public schools. Her background is in children, youth and adult programming, leadership development, facilitation, children and family counseling, social justice education, and program development. She loves working at Little Mountain, an organization doing incredible community development work. She also feels privileged to have such a fabulous, dedicated and skilled staff team implementing the child, youth and special services programs here at Little Mountain.

Susan Schachter - Manager, Settlement and Community Programs
Susan has been working at Little Mountain since 1998 where she started teaching in the English Language Services for Adults program teaching a Level 3 class and over time began teaching both that level and Level 1. Looking for different challenges in her work life she moved out of teaching and into her current position of Coordinator of Settlement Services and Community Programs in 2004 and has not looked back. Growth, personally and within the programs and people that she works with epitomizes the valuable work and development of her program areas. Like being on the neighbourhood house running team it is the forward motion that makes each day interesting.

Sanja Sladojevic - Manager, Family Resource Programs
Sanja Sladojevic has coordinated Family Resource Programs at Little Mountain Neighbourhood House since 2007 after facilitating various programs such as; Family Drop-in, Mother Goose, You Make the Difference and Nobody is Perfect for more than five years. She has lots of experience in different multicultural environments, having lived in many countries including China, Croatia and Great Britain. Sanja and the Early Years Team enjoy working with young children and their parents and caregivers. She also coordinates the Open Doors to Learning Project as well as some other early childhood programs in Vancouver.
